DELF/DALF exam

DELF and DALF are two official French language certification exams recognized by the French Ministry of Education.
DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française) is aimed at non-French speakers and assesses the ability to use the French language in real-life situations. It is divided into four independent diplomas: A1, A2, B1, and B2. Each level corresponds to a specific level of proficiency, and candidates can take the exam at the level that best corresponds to their abilities.
DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) is for advanced speakers of French and is divided into two independent diplomas: C1 and C2. These diplomas are intended for people who want to use French in a professional or academic context.
Both exams are designed to assess the four language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The exams are divided into different parts, each of which tests a specific skill. The format of the exam varies depending on the level and include various tasks such as reading comprehension, text production, and oral expression.
DELF and DALF are internationally recognized and are valid for life. They are useful for people who want to study or work in a French-speaking environment, or simply want to prove their proficiency in the French language.
